Recipient Testimonials
I just wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the help you provided for my family’s financial situation. Your support has truly made a significant difference, and we can’t thank you enough. We are so grateful for your generosity and kindness in lending us a helping hand during a time where we need it most.
Once again, thank you for everything you have done for us. We are truly grateful and appreciative of your support.
Jeannie I am still speechless and overcome with joy and emotions after speaking to you this afternoon. My husband and I are truly amazed, grateful for your help and generosity. You have given us reason, hope, and understanding that there are still good people out there. These last few months to a year and so has been a struggle emotionally, physically, and financially with little to no help. We sought help from Robin’s social worker from Kaiser who referred us to your foundation and without questions you came to help. We cannot thank you enough for understanding and just listening. With your help you’ve made Robin’s journey fighting cancer a little easier with less stress and more faith. We’d like to join you and your foundation in your mission to giving and helping as soon as we’re able.
God bless you always.

Thank you so much for helping me with the hospital bills!!! Thank you. I’ve started back at work so I shouldn’t need anymore help. Please let me know when I can speak on the help that you have done for me and my family.
“Throughout my time as the Oncology Social Worker at Sutter Solano Medical Center, I sought to provide resources and advocate for the Cancer Patients’ I provided services for. For many patients, their cancer diagnosis also meant that they could not work while undergoing treatment. This, in and of itself, caused financial pressure and anxiety for many of the patients. One of the best parts of my job was being able to refer patients to the Hamann Foundation for financial scholarships.
I witnessed directly patients and their family members avoiding eviction for unpaid rent by the generous scholarships given by the Foundation. I saw patients able to get back on their feet due to past due bills being paid to get them current. Most importantly, I saw cancer patients able to reduce their financial anxiety because of the generosity of the Foundation. This improved the “quality of life” for these patients so that they could focus their energies on fighting cancer and attending treatments. I believe that this has helped patients to have improved medical outcomes.
A great big thank you to the Hamann Foundation.”
I hope that the Fundraiser is very successful.
Thank you for all that you do.
Warmly,
Caroline M. Thomas, LCSW
