About Jeannie Hamann

Jeannie Hamann and Hamann Real Estate have been named Benicia’s “Best Of” for 15 years in a row. This achievement is a testament to her ability to establish and maintain long-lasting client relationships. Jeannie has been active in the real estate profession for the past 34 years.

  • In 2006, Jeannie was awarded the ATHENA AWARD for women who demonstrate excellence, creativity and initiative in their business and profession, as well as provide a valuable service by contributing time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community.
    Tim and Jeannie were honored on July 3rd, 2019 by being chosen to serve as the Grand Marshall’s of Benicia’s Annual Torchlight Parade.

Jeannie’s passion started with her involvement with the American Cancer Society’s “Relay For Life.” Thanks to her family, co-workers, clients and friends, the “Hamann’s Hearts 4 A Cure” team has continued each year to meet their goal by raising over $300,000 for the American Cancer Society over the years. In 2018, Jeannie received the Sharon Miller Award which is given at the “Relay for Life” annual event in Vallejo/Benicia.

In May of 2015, Jeannie & Tim started The Tim & Jeannie Hamann Foundation to raise money to give a Hand Up to local cancer patients in their journey of fighting cancer and supporting research. The Foundation is a non-profit organization and all volunteer. The Tim & Jeannie Hamann Foundation has given over $1 million in financial assistance to local cancer patients in the last 5 years.

About Tim Hamann

Tim Hamann was born and raised in Newport, Washington. Upon graduation from Eastern Washington University, Tim moved to California.

Tim worked for 50 years in the meat industry. The last 26 years, as the President of the United Food & Commercial Workers Local 120, representing retail and wholesale workers in the meat industry. The last 7 years of service, he served as Secretary/Treasurer for the UFCW Local 5 retiring in 2014.

During the 26 years in Union Administration raising money for Leukemia and Lymphoma research was his main focus where he helped raise several million dollars for that charity.

Upon retirement Tim has changed his focus to giving back to our community by helping those who need a hand up in their journey fighting cancer.
